Jerome and Markos speak

We (the local bloggers) were lucky enough to have Jerome and Markos arrive early for their "Crashing the Gate" book signing in order to talk to us about the netroots movement. They graciously agreed to be interviewed by me, and even forgave me for neglecting to hit "Record" for the first 2 minutes, and started over. Spazeboy might still be mad at me for that!

UPDATE: I have to add this...the backroom bar of the Playwright Pub is absolutely one of the coolest bars I've ever seen! The gothic, church-like decor looks absolutely amazing; I think this room must have been a real church at one time. The Playwright, 144 Temple Street, New Haven; stop in some time, have a stout, and wander back to the rear. Great place for a private party!

So here is a short (2:30, about 4MB) video with some of their remarks; I'll be posting more later from the event, including Tim Tagaris' introduction and Ned Lamont's speech.

UPDATE: Shit, I forgot the plug for MyDD.Com on the video clip...I'm sorry, Jerome. I was rushing it onto the blog because I had to go to work today. Sheesh, having to go out and make a living really eats into my video editing time!
