Lieberman on Hannity & Colmes

If you needed any more evidence that Joe "Nobody Wants to End the War in Iraq More than Me" Lieberman has already broken his campaign promises, feel free to watch this FoxNews exclusive interview with Senator "Forgive But Not Forget".

Lieberman has pretty much proven an aging leopard can't change his spots...they just become a little stodgier-looking.

How long before Joe reiterates his view that "we criticize the President at our risk"? Nothing at all has changed, except the size of the chip on the Senator's shoulder.

And something tells me that the Iraqi people and our brave soldiers will pay the price for that.

So, Joe, please tell us how many children from your Republican constituents you're willing to send to Iraq? BTW, it’s hard to tell whose "pimping" for whom after listening to all that love between Joe and Sean! Sorry, just had to go "low for Joe"!!!!!

Great Interview. This shows that Joe will not tolerate being forced to vote with strict party lines when he knows they are wrong. He is doing what is best for this country and neither the Demos or Repubs can control him. We need more people like Joe in Washington. I'm proud to from CT where we vote with our brains not emotions

Is that a veiled insult for the brainpower of Connecticut voters? Inquiring minds would like to know.

I think CT voters were very smart on Nov 7th

I think anon is confusing brains with something else???? It doesn't take a lot of brainpower to figure out that Joe is doing what's best for Joe! Using your brain would have been NOT voting in the same mistake that took us to Iraq!

And what exactly is best or Joe?? No Conspiracy theories please

Well, if you paid any attention to this year election in CT it would be very clear.

Anything that keeps Joe in power.

You're right gary, he will be outvoted simply because not even the Republicans want to "stay the course" any longer.

Even so, like Lucy Ricardo, the people of Connecticut have some "splainin" to do in response to the question of exactly why they re-imposed this jackass on the rest of us.

simple question that can have complex answers: why should we have/care about political parties?

Good question. Too bad everyone on this will give you a bullshit answer

To quote the freeway blogger

Don't fight in wars that are started by men who wouldn't fight in wars.

Lieberman - 2 Deferments (guess he was too busy to serve)

Dick Cheney (5 Deferments this just means he thinks he should have to serve cause of his familys money)

President Bush - National Guard with daddy's money and influence then, AWOL during time of war, usually punishable by death (But his records got lost, wonder how that happened)

Lieberman had more like 4 or 5 deferments, possibly 7; I can check.

No matter, he's as yellow as they come.

Can understand Joe L. and his desire to remain in the Senate. It's a lot of power, you are given so much attention, you're a star, the Senators know it, who would want to give that up and then suddenly be a footnote or even worse, irrelevant? You're a big somebody then suddenly nobody. Can understand the motivation to remain a Senator.
