Exclusive video interview with Ken Krayeske

In this exclusive first video interview since his highly publicized and very questionable arrest while covering the inauguration parade for Governor Rell, photo-journalist Ken Krayeske agreed to talk to Maura from VA/CT and myself yesterday at the "Our Water, Not Brrrroadwater" event in Branford.

Senator Lieberman, Congresswoman DeLauro, Attorney General Blumenthal, and other dignitaries were in attendance. I'm pleased to see that no other online journalists were wrongfully arrested and locked up for doing their jobs (my wife told me as I walked out the door that she didn't have a spare $75,000 for bail, so I'd better behave myself).

Here's the exclusive first look video (which would have been done last night, except my external drive shit itself and I had to make space on my notebook's drive):

I thought he was going to say he handed his little sister over to the Moroccan police so he could keep his camera...!!

NOT DECLAWED!!!!!

That cat is 100 times more a threat to Jodu Rell than Ken without a doubt.

Yeah, I'll bet the cat ends up on the list next!

I've heard unconfirmed rumors that Whiskers the blind cat is on the list.

How am I supposed to tell people that Video Bloggers can be serious journalists when you keep making these videos that are just too damned funny! lol

Great interview.

He sure is able to make his point at the end of it all.

NOT DECLAWED!!!!!

AND he's polydactyl and listens to NPR. Obviously a threat to state security.

CM1, yeah Ken really brought it home at the end. And the funny is intentional; I wanted to show that he's not a threat to anyone. Ken's a "serious journalist".

I'm a "silly journalist". I might not be taken seriously, but I have more fun.

Beau, check this out:

tee hee...it's not exclusive if it gets cross-posted at MLN. :-)

Great job, Bob. You rock.

(BTW, when are you going to accuse your online enemies of hacking your external hard drive??????? I think you should call for an investigation.)

It's all about not losing the freedoms this country was founded on. I want to know who else is on the list. Nice interview. It's our right as citizens to voice opinions.

Gosh, they really are trying squash free speech. The day of the election, I, along with my wife told voters as they walked to the polling station in Hamden, "A vote for Joe is a vote for more war." Within minutes, three police cruisers showed up. It is not only bloggers who are at risk, but everyday citizens who atempt to exercise their free speech.

Yeah, and his first instinct is to jump into the middle of the parade. Kinda like the police report says he did. Hmmm.

WOW! He has a photo journalists instincts. "The horror, the horror!"

They should never have been monitoring or watching for him in the first place. That is the sad fact that seems to escape too many unconstitutional "authoritarian" wannabes.

Hi CT Bob,

At the next Manchester, CT Democratic Town Committee meeting, we will be discussing what the appropriate response of CT Democrats regarding Lieberman's actions during his 2006 Senate campaign. I have proposed a resolution to the committee that states if any candidate running in the Democratic primary, loses the primary, then petitions their way back onto the ballot to further challenge the winner of the primary in the general election of the same year, then the Manchester Democratic Town Committee will no longer endorse this candidate for election or reelection to any public office in the future. I would love to have you come tape this meeting if you are free on January 25 at 7:30. The event is posted on DFA and the link is here.

Nathan, I'd consider doing it, but the 25th is the Milford DTC meeting also, and I need to be there since I'm working to get on the committee. Keep me posted, though.
