lieberman had almost no ground force except some hired guns. Where do all those votes come from? Who's gonna believe that the record turnout actually worked for Joe? There's something rotten in the state of CT.
joe says he'll caucus with dems but it was the republicans who voted for him in big numbers. He should be ashamed of himself, can't win the dem. vote so he steals it and hurts the entire state's efforts for real change.
We'll see what happens, but like caffeine soldier, I am skeptical of any strong win for Joe... the numbers, the patterns, the activity just don't add up. I was out there--they just don't add up.

But the high vote trunout should have favored the Dem candidate! I'm suspecting that some Dem town machines worked for Loeberman, in violence of the primary result. Traitors.
the general election is a better representation of the state than the democratic primary. independents and republicans still want joe despite the fact hes voted with dems 90% of the time.
Obviously, yet apparently it's easier to chalk it up to "voter fraud" instead of Lamont running a lousy post primary campaign :(, LIEberman was ripe for the picking
This was a public rejection of Lamont, maybe not the netroots, but certainly a strong broad-based rejection of Lamont. He shoulda released the taxes early on, I think that\'s why pols wouldn\'t come out and support him. Too much mystery and too much inexperience. It didn\'t add up well.

A 60k vote gap... unless there are super-strong Lamont precincts not counted yet, it's probably over, unfortunately.
