A New Look
I finally updated to the more current version of Blogger after having them bug me for about three years. This is just a temporary template until I work out all the elements and settle on a design. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
It's groovy. I dig it, reminds me of surfboards on the beach at Maui or something.
Loads quickly too, on the crappy old Mac I found dumped behind the Senior Center, which I use just for a goof. (I do my serious imaging work on another more current one which stays strictly off-line).
No no, that wasn't criticism at all. I really do dig it, and I still use terms like "dig" and "groovy" and , best of all, "far out" all the time! You know what I look like, but I wasn't always like this- my body keeps aging and I can't make it stop! And I lOVE to party, which is probably not helping things. The real me is and will always be an 18-year-old hippie Deadhead with a long ponytail halfway down my back and beads and bellbottoms. Unfortunately, it was 1971 back when I really was 18.
I hate it every October when the Halloween costumes are back in the stores, and they put out the "Flower child" ones. That's no silly costume!
Please keep the new look for at least a little while, Bob...
No prob. I'm gonna tweak the look a bit. I'm not crazy about that "peach" color as you scroll down the page, and I'd like to make the right sidebar narrower and the main text of the page wider, but I'll get around to it eventually.
Adding cowbell is trickier. I might put in an auto-starting and looping cowbell.wav file (at the loudest possible volume level, of course) so I chase away ALL my readers! ;)
