Dodd utilizes live video stream for FDL chat

Sen. Chris Dodd is making an effort to connect with the voters via the latest technology. Yesterday, Dodd used a live video stream for a live blogging session with Fire Dog Lake.

The Senator answered questions submitted by blogging in a "live" format, meaning you get to see and hear him react and answer the questions in real time. This is an outstanding concept, where the voters get to virtually meet and ask questions of the candidate. The questions were posed by the disembodied voice of Dodd staffer and MLN's own Matt Browner-Hamlin.

My only criticism was that Matt's voice was off-mic and nearly inaudible, which could cause some confusion about what the question was that the senator was answering. Chris was mic'd nicely and his audio level was fine; next time, I'd recommend they invest in a simple $40 mixer box (I've got one) and run a second mic into it for Matt's questions.

Nicely done FDL and Senator Dodd!

I'd really like to post a new article, but for some reason motherfuckin' Blogger.com has decided that this is a "Spam Blog", and they've locked me out of posting.

It's been over 24 hours, and I can't even put up a fuckin' message saying the blog is out-of-service.

Thanks a fuckin' lot, Blogger!

It's Day Three of the Blogger Hostage Crisis!

God, it's not like there's anything IMPORTANT going on that I might want to discuss here.

Who cares that the most powerful Republican in the State Senate might have wanted to have an alleged gangster allegedly beat the ever-loving shit out of his alleged granddaughter's alleged boyfriend? Who cares that there's a presidential debate scheduled moments from now and I just received a call from someone on the scene who has some news? Who cares about riots at the G8 summit, or about special events here in Connecticut?

God-fucking-dammit!

here's a take on it that will warm the cockles of your cold cold heart.. he's just a grieving grandfather that wanted to 'protect' his granddaughter.

OMG this blog made me laugh so hard coffee came out my nostrils. Some folks here on earth are COMPLETELY delusional.

SPAM ON! *I kid of course*

Chris Healy is a genius! He's basically saying that it's just fine to hire someone to break a kneecap or two when your relative doesn't want your help. Now THAT'S a Republican Value!

And like CT Keith says, "Keep Lou Alive!" Whoever they get to replace him is bound to be smarter.

In other news, it's DAY FOUR of the Blogger Hostage Crisis! Stay tuned for breaking news...or something.
