Get ready for higher gas prices

Let's face facts.

Another blessed gift from God to the oil companies is hurtling towards the Gulf Coast right now.
McALLEN, Texas - Residents along the Texas-Mexico border kept a watchful eye on Tropical Storm Dolly on Monday, stocking up on plywood, generators and flashlights as forecasters predicted the storm would strengthen into a hurricane later this week and make landfall.

[..]

Shell Oil said it was evacuating workers from oil rigs in the western Gulf Of Mexico...

[..]

Dolly was expected to make landfall Wednesday as a Category 1 storm with sustained winds of 74 mph to 95 mph.
Maybe I'm being a bit of an alarmist here, but just watch gas prices over the next two weeks. Regardless of the impact on our crude oil supply, we'll likely see the cost of already refined gasoline that's been in the supply line for months suddenly ratchet up.

A good hurricane is always cause for these guys to celebrate:

"Now I can afford to get even BIGGER
turkey-neck implants! Woo-hoo!"
