This was the first time I've personally seen him speak. My ears were ringing for quite a while afterward.
And a note to everyone who sees me at a public event: Keep in mind that I'm simply terrible at remembering names and matching faces with who people are, so if you come up to me to say "Hi!" at a public event, please tell me your internet "handle" FIRST, since that's how I remember people. It's like I have dyslexia, only with names. I've always been hopeless at it, which is one reason I'd be a complete disaster as a politician. Thanks!
