Newt the winner in S.C.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich earned a decisive primary victory yesterday over previous frontrunner and presumed GOP nominee Mitt Romney. The upset throws the entire process into disarray and promises to make the the GOP nominating process a long and bitter battle.

So far there have been three caucuses/primaries, and each one has a different winner. This obviously won't be a simple road to the convention, and we can expect to see continued fireworks and personal attacks escalate going into Florida next week.

The attacks have been colorful, to say the least:

Newt is apparently some kind of wild man, with all the talk of him wanting an "open marriage". (I apologize to those of you who just threw up a little into your mouths).

Mitt Romney was attacked for being successful and wealthy.

Rick Santorum has been subject to all kinds of accusations regarding his siding with labor unions.

Ron Paul has been saying, "Hey guys, what about me?!? Why does FoxNews cut me off? How 'bout you guys say something about m- ..."

All in all, it looks like the entertaining process will continue well through Super Tuesday. I'll be sure to have the popcorn ready!

The networks are loving it, of course. Cheap content to fill the 24-hour news hole and lots more adv. revenue. The longer this fight goes on, the more the nets rake in.
Apparently it doesn't matter to the nets that most people are not political junkies and could do without the constant coverage the internal squabbling in the GOP.
By the time we get to Phoenix or where-ever, many Americans will be thoroughly sick of politics.
But this might be the plan.

I knew something fishy was going on when the MSM all added a third word to Newt's name- Newt Gingrich Surge. Like the same day as the "open marriage" revelation...

Somewhere Eddie Bernays's spirit is beaming with pride. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays)

Perhaps a bit OT, but my latest Netflix DVD (Fair Game) arrived. Wow. It's about Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. I'd call it a must-see, and would rank it right up there with "Farenheit 9/11", "Why We Fight", and "The End of America".

After watching this, I just have one thing to say to DaeSung…”GET SOMEEE!“

Also, if you missed SBS Big Show, you can rewatch the Tonight, What Is Right, and Cafe performances on Big Bang’s official Youtube channel.

JT’s 4th Mini-album Big Bang VN

I’m really impressed with this mini-album. It shows how much BB has grown in 2 years they’ve been away. I have to say, this whole mini-album was very J-Pop influenced, well considering “Hands Up” and “Somebody to Love” were originally Japanese songs.

Yes, Cafe deserves it’s own paragraph. Cafe is really an amazing song. It’s like there’s a bunch of upbeat J-Pop-ish K-pop then there’s this one chill song at the end. Just like on the “Stand Up” mini-album, all K-pop songs, then there’s “Oh My Friend.” It’s one song that completely stands out. Just like DaeSung said during SBS The Big Bang Show…
