SAN FRANCISCO, California (AP) -- A measure seeking to commemorate President Bush's years in office by slapping his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot.
The measure certified Thursday would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.
Supporters say the idea is to commemorate the mess they claim Bush has left behind by actions such as the war in Iraq.
Local Republicans say the plan stinks and they will oppose it.
Next, we have to start working on the
Dick Cheney Memorial Toxic Waste Storage Facility.

It would possibly be more appropriate to name the pipeline entering the facility was named for him.
After all, the facility cleans up the crap it gets; and our Frat-boy-in Chief has steadfastly refused to do that.
I know. It's almost a crime to name a facility that has a useful purpose after a person who has NO useful purpose!
This kind of thing could catch on. Isn't there a sewage plant somewhere in Connecticut that could be re-named the Joe Lieberman Sewage Churning and Regurgitation Plant?

What's the absolute worst public facility in CT that currently isn't named for someone already? Is there a rest area or a town dump that might fill the bill?
Perhaps there's one in Bridgeport. I'd suggest the one in West Haven, but I'm planning to get that named for our current Mayor.
Or better yet, if that damned LNG barge gets built, we can name it the "Lieberman terrorist recreation & welcome center"
Santorum has a "frothy mixture" named after him. I always thought that "mixture" should of been called "Leiberman" instead.
