Which reminds me of a basic rule of Photoshopping:
Zombies are ALWAYS fun!
And this extrapolation on the rule:
VOTING zombies are fun AND ironic!
But the reality is, this is a serious story. From today's Connecticut Post:
Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz on Monday asked the State Elections Enforcement Commission to investigate the issue, which she called a "breakdown of communications" between town clerks who are mandated to provide monthly lists of the deceased and local registrars of voters who are required to remove the names from the state's centralized data base.Still, over 300 dead people have voted in elections in Connecticut. One dead guy voted an astounding 19 times since 1992!
While on the surface it appears he deserves a citizenship award for "Persistence from beyond the grave", my guess is that he was an unwitting accomplice in a case of mistaken identity or a simple clerical error. The good news is that this seems to be a fairly isolated occurrence, rather than an attempt to perpetrate a fraud.
But really, wouldn't it have been more appropriate for this story to have clawed it's way to the surface around Halloween?

That's an awful lot in Brooklyn! About half the town I would guess.
Yes, the curse of the undead is rampant in the 2nd district! LOL
What is the party affiliation breakdown ?
Good question. Probably the UConn students who did the study have the breakdown, but it wasn't listed in any of the articles I've seen.
I'm guessing we'll see more dead unaffiliated voters than dead Dems or dead GOPers. Based solely on the fact that there are more unaffiliated voters, dead or alive.
I thought that guy behind me waiting to vote smelled a little ripe...
It was probably just a Neocon. They all smell that way.
Oh, NO YOU DIDN'T!?!
