This morning on the Today show, Lester Holt in London was interviewing a leader of the Muslim community who talked about the mischaracterization of Muslim = evil (akin to blogger = nut job) They talked about how it was members of the Muslim community that provided the tips to Scotland Yard and without concerned people stepping forward, 10 jets would have fallen out of the sky Wednesday, the 16th.
Am I the only well-informed person who reads newspapers and online who didn't know that's how the British authorities broke the plot? Somehow, I didn't think so -- doesn't sound like it would be on key with the magic Wurlitzer here in the US.

Your not the only person who feels this way. We have been tipped off my concerned muslims all along the way.
But the Bush Crime Family thinks that foreign policy is bombing stuff so since these bombers were second generation british, will we be bombing Tony Blair's house.
Not only that, but is there any shred of evidence that data mining, the Patriot act, and other violations of our constitution have contributed to the successful proecution of a single terrorist here in the US?

There’s a real purpose behind “conservatism” which is preventing little conservative brains from information overload. After all, if they actually opened up their minds it would destroy the purpose of “hate” and then what would they do with all those left over bombs going to waste?
So long as the MSM allows the bushtistas to create their own reality, they will. Nothing hard to understand here - just a lazy corporate-run, bottom-line driven media that simply spews forth whatever this administration puts forth. Most discouraging.
