Wouldn't it be great...

...if ALL our nation's representatives possessed even half the political courage and determination as my Congresswoman, Rosa DeLauro?

Here in Connecticut we're doing pretty darn good with our current Congressional delegation. I can only imagine what it's like to possess any sense of human empathy and be forced to live someplace like Texas.

Okay, so maybe it's not quite heaven on earth, but I can't see myself living anywhere else but here in the good ol' Constitution state.

Without knowing it you just explained why the powers of Congress are limited by the Constitution and they cannot and should not do things like national health care.

Connecticut is not Texas and you cannot have a national policy that works for Connecticut AND Texas.

The proper place for a health care debate, or any debate short of the few specifically enumerated in the Constitution, is in the State House of each state, not the halls of Congress.

The ideals of 300 million Americans shouldn't be shaped by a few corrupt clowns in Congress.

Right. Because obviously people in Texas don't get lung cancer and aren't routinely denied insurance coverage based on a pre-existing condition.

Give me a break.
