The Big Lie

It's difficult to call any ONE lie THE Big Lie because they come out with so many of them, but this one is a doozy. Maybe tomorrow they'll come up with something different, so this can be TODAY'S Big Lie.

In a nutshell, this is what they're saying:

If we don't support Telecom immunity, the terrorists will kill us all!

Right.

So here's my video response to their scare tactics:

My version of that commercial told me specifically to call Chris Murphy. How do they know my representative? Do they know where I live? Are they tapping my phone? Dare I trust the Internets and the Tubes? I am scared. I am going deep undercovers and pillows. Ahh!!!!

Heh heh...of COURSE they're watching you! They see all!

They see...but they do not understand. And that is where their fatal flaw resides.

Also, the fact that they undergo mass funny-bone removal at puberty.

Great video! But gee, haven't I seen the original somewhere before?

Truly, the Repukes are gonna be lost once they can't blame the "Islamo-facists" for all our problems anymore.

"of COURSE they're watching you! They see all!"

How to increase hits from the government:

Bush is bombing in the polls. It's killing republicans to watch liberal terrorists like you target them.

That should be enough keywords to put you and me on that Krayeske watch list... If we weren't already on it? lol What a waste of taxpayers dollars!

And I noticed that you did this on MY blog! Thanks a lot!

Be sure to tell everyone that I'm not suicidal, just in case anything happens to m-

I have a Slingbox (do a goggle search) that lets me watch my favorite morning show every afternoon here in Cairo, Egypt - Morning Joe (MSNBC). These ads are on it (oh plus on CBS Sunday Morning) and to say the least, I was shocked! What a lie and another deceiving scare tactic from BuschCo.

As an American who lives abroad most of the year, and who would be a target of this law, I find it "Un-American." It's not what we stand for, nor what we want to convey to others.

One of the first things they warn you about when you move overseas / Middle East / Central Asia is, "Assume All Phone Calls Are Recorded."

Maybe that should be the new warning on phones now too - kind of like that "smoking causes cancer" thing on cigarette boxes.

Unfortunately the reasoning goes that the person (overseas) being tapped has contacts (who live in the USA) and those contacts can be tapped too. And it goes on and on and on, so that virtually anyone, who has had a contact with a contact with a contact of someone living overseas is eligible for phone tapping. As I understand it that goes for E-Mails too.

Hmm, I wonder if that goes to blog comments as well?
