OK, I'll admit that it's a hacky headline, but I couldn't resist! Our favorite Vice President, Joe Biden, once again went off the script at a fundraiser in Virginia last night. It always cracks me up.
Sometimes Biden displays the sort of brutal honesty one associates with a young child who hasn't yet learned how to filter his thoughts.
And this is why we love him!
When talking about the many Democrats that he helped over the years, he referred to a number of them as "turkeys".
"Some of the guys Chuck [Robb] and I have campaigned for are turkeys. Not all Democrats are created equal, while most Republicans are."
I wonder...who might qualify for that status?
Hmmmm.....

You used to be much better at Photoshop...
Whaddaya mean by that?
I think it looks PERFECT!
You can even see his turkey neck!
You shoukd have put him on the other end.
My point EXACTLY!
Or...maybe, that end of a horse? (Hmmmm)
Yeah, but Biden didn't call anyone a "horse's ass", did he? (not this week, anyways)
He called some Democrats "turkeys". I'm going with a theme here, get it? So my photoshopped image is thematically relevant, even if the image itself might be considered somewhat rudimentary.
It's kind of like criticizing Garry Trudeau for not drawing the "Doonesbury" characters better; it's the content that matters, not the presentation, see?
(insert petulant whining voice here)
Don't you repress me! I'm an artist, maaaannnnnn!!!
(I could easily go on in this ridiculous vein for another 5 or 6 paragraphs but I don't have the time right now, fun though it is to write like that!)
You just ruined my Thanksgiven Dinner.

Heh heh...you should see his giblets!
Just went out to lunch with a good friend who told me about a guy who used to raise Turkeys in his backyard and named them Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, etc.
He missed out - since this was 50 years ago - on naming one Joe and chopping up his giblets on November 7, 2006
