Sunday Night Music Club VIII

The third wave of ska peaked during the mid-to-late 1990s, with ska-influenced bands like Sublime and No Doubt embracing the "ska-punk" vibe.

Part of what I like about the genre is the way ska-punk bands cover well-known songs and give it a whole new feel. Here's two of my favorites:

Save Ferris covers "Come On Eileen" by the vastly underrated Dexy's Midnight Runners.

Sadly, Save Ferris has broken up, but I do hope to hear a lot more from singer Monique Powell.

Oh, you know it!

I can't imagine anyone listening to this song and not feeling great!
