Cherry Blossom Festival Video

Here's a short (97 seconds, about 2.7MB) video clip showing the Wooster Square Cherry Blossom Festival, where Ned Lamont supporters Edward Anderson, Keith Crane, and myself turned out to help collect petition signatures, along with future Peabody Award-winner Spazeboy, who filled in as interviewer for our "man on the street" interviews, and did a fine job at that.

We stuck to a simple topic: Lieberman's support of the massive energy bill which gives oil companies huge tax breaks while they're making record profits. Check out the video, and remember if it starts playing choppy, hit the PAUSE button on the window and give it a minute to download. Enjoy!

BEAUTIFUL

I wish this video was on the front page of the Campaigns website.

Trueblue, we'd ask him if he ever decided to take our calls. I've emailed him many times about various issues, and always get a lame form letter that's filled with doubletalk and waffling about whatever issue I've written about. He'll never answer honestly, because he won't bite the corporate hand that feeds him.

Keith, thanks! I had fun making this one, but boy was there a LOT of video to sift through to get a decent, interesting, tight 97 seconds. I always forget how much work it is to edit these things.

Thanks for making me look good, must have been like polishing a turd. :)

You've obviously never tried to polish a turd...that's MUCH more difficult. LOL!

Again, it was cool to see how much you improved from the first interview to that last one. You were definitely getting the hang of it by the end.

Three Thumbs Up!

Great job everyone. I sure hope we see a lot more stuff like this and can find ways of highlighting it everywhere.

Glad you liked it! We're absolutely going to make more videos and make them available. As we progress in the campaign and I have more time for prep and planning, the quality and content of the videos will get much better.
