Chris Shays and the NAR
The National Association of Realtors PAC gave Chris Shays over $800,000 to help his campaign. Does it make you wonder why they want back in Congress so badly?
Well, well. I guess Mr. Dodd is about to fall. But what is most disturbing is he appears to be willing to throw his wife under the bus. Funny as the pressure on him mounts to come clean, all of a sudden out of the blue the suggestion is put out that perhaps his wife had the ethical lapse. Man up dodd release the documents once and for all. Of course he is stalling waiting for congress to make it all go away. Him and mr. frank got some serious splaining to do.
Jezz, the place smells of red herring. Could Dodd have gotten an 800 grand deal from a mortgage company? Not likely. Probably very small potatoes here. But Shays should be sure to keep these Realtor connections fresh as he will likely need a new job soon. How cool for him to be hustling housing as the market sinks. oldswede
Just release the documents dodd, then we will all know the truth. Thats all, really a simple thing to do. As requested Bob, the citation you requested is on the wtnh blog site connpolitics artcle heading of "Some partly blame dodd for economic crisis."
Fine, he said he'll hand them over when the Senate Ethics investigation is over. I know it's not soon enough for the likes of you, but I suspect you won't be happy until you're allowed to sniff his underwear drawer.
Ho, ho ho. Latest ship-jumping rat is both-ways Shays. Quoth the rodent in a Yale Daily News interview, "I just don't see how he can win. He has lost his brand as a maverick, he did not live up to his pledge to fight a clean campaign." Oh the stench of flop-sweat and fear is heavy in the district. oldswede

Chris Shays -- the best Congressman Wall Street can buy.
