I can't even imagine what sort of bizarre thoughts ramble incoherently through McCain's feverish mind, but from the inside I'd bet it looks something like the movie set from "Saw IV"!
He's really starting to fall apart right in front of our eyes. Why can't he just retire somewhere and enjoy the few good years he has left, instead of subjecting himself to this punishment? It's tragic, really.

Please note that the bobble head Caribou Barbie is in the back giving a nod of understanding and saying "Yes, yesss!" to a statement so absurd only she could understand it. He is talking in "Palin speak."
Also, the little blond on the right looked like she smelled something awful right when McCain flubbed.
