Democrat Jim Himes announced his candidacy today for Congress in the 4th Congressional District. The 4th is currently occupied by Republican Chris Shays.Jim's website is HimesForCongress. Go there for more info. Jim will also be live-blogging on My Left Nutmeg today from 1:30-2:30PM.
