Milford's St. Paddy's parade

Today was a warm (sort of) day, so we decided to go to the parade. I shot video with my digital camera, and posted it below, along with some parade pictures.

Nothing political here, just us and some friends enjoying the day, along with a few pints of Guinness Stout afterward.

Our friend Sheila with Joyce.

as much as I love green beer.. I never understood why St Paddys day is such a big deal here, and a religious holiday in Ireland.

??
Nice video btw, great job as always.

It's just an excuse to show some ethnic pride and have a little fun. I also expect it's sort of a "pre-Spring" celebration, like the Winter is finally ending and we can all stand outdoors for several hours and welcome the return of milder temperatures.

Thanks for the compliment about the video, but I was still a little woozy from the numerous stouts when I edited it, so looking at it today makes me cringe a bit! LOL
