Not a bad day. A transformational new president, D sweep in New England's congressional delegation, more Ds in the House and Senate, and across this amazing land the politics of division and hatred are soundly rejected. The days of Shays and LIEberman are now officially over.
We all have a dream tonight. We can finally sleep the sleep of the just.....for the first time in eight years.
You have all earned this.
CT BOB here: This was an awesome night all around. I haven't had this much fun since Ned Lamont beat Joe Lieberman in the 2006 Democratic primary! There was definitely a feeling of us "getting the band back together" for this one.
Kirby - thank you so much for your awesome work tonight! You held down the fort (again!) so I could have fun with the drunken reprobates. I can't thank you enough!
PS - Boy, Gabe sure can quaff a beverage or three!
