Billboard up in CT Today

This billboard went up today on I-95. Sponsored by an interfaith group here in CT -- their Web site has a nice summary of how Joe's vote in the Senate legalized torture. Bravo that people of faith in CT are speaking out.

And ye of little faith -- everybody has advice for how the Lamont campaign should be run. Hang on a couple of more days until Joe's full 3rd quarter disclosure forms are out -- that will be quite a read.

Channel 12 News showed this ad on TV tonight. I think it's great and I hope it gets more media coverage!

Yeah Harriet, I saw that report!

Kirby, great job getting a copy of that posted!

There's just too damned much going on today to keep up. I can't get over Joe's blog not mentioning Alan at ALL!

And Spazeboy's video got frontpaged over at firedoglake! Yay, Spazeboy!

That billboard is exactly what we need more of. Direct, brutally honest, in-your-face.

The next one ought to be, "Joe Lieberman is a Liar," in reference to his broken promise not to serve more than 3 terms.

I've been disappointed at the lack of Lamont billboards out there; it seems that the campaign has put all its advertising dollars into TV/radio and direct mail.

I think 5% for billboards on heavily trafficed I-95 and I-91 would be money well spent.

But at this point, it's either done or not done. You can't buy a billboard and have it go up within a week around here; these things are sold months in advance.

Just have to trust that what they're doing is the right thing, because complaining now won't help.

Those aren't dead Iraqis...

They're "terrorists". Jeez, haven't you been listening to Lieberman?

We need SOMETHING to give us a shot in the arm. Things are stagnant since the Primary.

Bob, any word on when the latest Float will be up and running? time is flying by.

CT Bob said...

The float is back! It was at the debate in Stamford; see spazeboy.net for some images.

Today was rainy, and even paper-mache presidents get runny in the rain.

I think the torture sign in somewhere in Stratford, along I-95 between exits 34 in Milford to exit 30 in Bridgeport/Stratford. I haven't been down that way yet.

Please actually READ the subject of the bilboard:

It is the uninformed that make bad choices.
