Go fly a kite

(image from suehadora.com)

Today (Sunday) the weather here is going to be much too nice to sit in front of a computer all day. Go outside and do something fun; it's been a long, chilly Spring, and we all deserve a nice change of pace.

Me, I'm gonna go work on my boat and get it ready for a mid-May launch. Yesterday, Milford Living magazine held it's 2nd Annual Milford Living Family Fun Kite Fly at Walnut beach. They had great weather, and today is going to be even better.

Enjoy!

It's 75.7 degrees here in Cairo, while I hear it's going to be 85 in CT. Hahaha - I just don't know what to say. It's just not possible (last week we were close to 100 degrees.) Have fun!

Still got nothing, huh?

Even without wind the Milford Living Magazine kite flying event was great. They gave away soap bubble kits to the kids and we made sandcastles and got along well with the Republicans.

And nobody called me a "dirty stinkin' kite", which is always a good day if you are Jewish.

VB - that's quite the cold snap you got going there. Today my thermometer read 91 degrees. Wow!

Bob - LOL. Got stuff to write, but not a lot of time. This week looks just as iffy; I got two meetings and a big sailing club bash scheduled.

Tessa - yeesh!

Greetings, CtBob.

I've long read your blogs, but never commented. I found your videos on Youtube and then followed your link here. I am your neighbor across the sound (Port Jeff) and absolutely love sailing myself. It's good to hear that you're getting the boat ready for the water. The first warm day of spring has a funny way of making you want to scrape old paint off of fiberglass. While I can't say that we see eye to eye politically, it seems we both love the sound.
Anyways, happy sailing and, who knows, we may cross wakes this summer.

Hi Tom. You should check out my sailing blog, Full Tilt if you haven't already. I keep a mooring over in PJ harbor, right outside the Sautucket Inlet. We sail over there for weekends quite a bit during the warm weather. Which, thankfully, is finally getting here!

Politics aside, we can all agree that sailing is great!
