More awful news
And, yet a third son of Connecticut has given his life in Iraq, this time from Wilton. We don't have a photo yet, but please keep Nicholas Madaras and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Just 19, he died when an IED blew up in Baqubah, Iraq.

If I ever start to doubt why I spend so much time doing this stuff, I just think about all those kids who won't see their 20th birthday.
Then I realize it's a tiny price for me to pay, compared to what they and their families pay.
And every dead kid just makes me want to work harder.
Has there ever been a debate where it was so obvious which side has the moral high ground?
