A great night to be a Democrat

Last night I decided nearly last-minute to attend the Stamford DTC meeting, a decision that was made significantly easier when I heard who was going to be there.

Candidate for Representative in the 4th District Diane Farrell. She graciously agreed to a brief interview before the speeches, as did Mary Glassman, on what was a very busy night for the candidates. If you haven't heard Diane speak, I recommend you go to her website and find out where she's appearing.

Of course, Ned was there, and his remarks were greeted by cheers and wild applause.

Mary Glassman, candidate for Lt. Governor, was warmly received by the crowd. She was introduced with real warmth by Stamford Mayor Dan Malloy, her former running mate for Governor. Visit the DeStefano For Governor website.

State Comptroller Nancy Wyman and Dan Malloy share a light moment.

I shot an hour of video, and it will take a few days to edit it and get the speeches online, but take my word for it...

It was a great night to be a Democrat.
