Let's hear it for Kirby!

Just so everybody knows...

...today's excellent coverage of the WFSB-3 nearly-super-secret Senate Debate was provided in it's entirety by our very own Kirby.

She was the complete "Connecticut Bob" Special Senate Debate Team today! Without her tireless efforts and determination, we never would have gotten such amazing coverage of today's event; hours before the MSM broadcast the story.

Let Kirby know how much you value her work! This is People Powered Media at it's best!

UPDATE 6:20am: Kirby here. Thanks so much. I felt like I was the eyes and ears of all bloggers yesterday. You can listen to the whole debate here, thanks to ConnecticutBlog's fine audio sweetening.

Kirby, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!! All night I have been running back to this computer, hitting the "refresh" button following your commentary! In between the joy of seeing the Mets win, and listening to Keith Olberman's "special comment" you have been keeping company with the best!

THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND KEEPING US INFORMED. It's really funny how this debate has been held secret from the public today that it almost makes me feel like I've been listening to "radio free USA"!

I hope you get a lot of rest tonight because you deserve it!

I love the picture of the other Kirby --just too cute!!! (I'm a real dog lover!!!)

As Keith Olberman would say, "Good night, and Good Luck!"

Oh NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Said pollster Douglas Schwartz: "Ned Lamont needed to score a knockout in the debates to catch Sen. Joseph Lieberman, but he apparently didn’t lay a glove on him... Observers had speculated that Alan Schlesinger would benefit from the debate exposure and take Republican votes away from Lieberman. Instead, he took Republican votes away from Lamont."
