Where is "Joe For Progress"?

Speaking of blogs, whatever happened to that most Rovian of blogs, "Joe For Progress"?

This is the officially sanctioned "independent" Lieberman blog, the highest linked from Joe's official blog page, and known for posting the vile stuff that even Joe wouldn't dare put on his blog, has been down for "maintenance" for weeks now.

What's the matter? Did Eric Blankerbanger get a little too overwhelmed with writing the litany of lies on the regular blog that he didn't have any time left for "Joe For Progress"? Where's all that "independent blogger's support for Lieberman" that was supposed to be out there?

How come everyone in the blogosphere ISN'T rushing to help Joe Lieberman?

It was the Ned Lamont Hacker Core that took down that site of course....

Just waiting for that press release...

Speaking of which, I haven't gotten any more info from the AG's office regarding the original "hacking" probe on Primary day.

Which pretty much gives Joe's paid liars a free reign to pull the plug on their shitty website again on Election day and complain that it was the Lamont Hackers who did it.

BTW, on CNN and other news networks, the hacking story was repeated non-stop all day in that uncritical fashion we've come to expect from them.

We don't have an independent media in the country. But we've got a legion of stenographers and sound-bite repeaters.

Maybe they're still hung over from celebrating that bogus Q-poll? That poll was as fishy as their accounting records! But it did wake up a lot of Ned supporters -- I saw more people coming in on Friday and yesterday because as one person told me, "the thought of Joe 6 more years -- she couldn't get here (Lamont campaign office)fast enough!"

I hate to say it but YOU ARE the independent media...

And THAT, anonymous, is the sad truth!

The state of the media these days is that the pros, the journalist-school graduates, the MSM, is in the hands of corporations who shade their reporting to enhance their political position.

It's up to idiots like me (and believe me, I've been called an "idiot" so many times that I'm starting to answer to the name!) with video cameras and high speed access to report what the professionals either can't or won't.

One thing I've learned is that blind ambition is perhaps the ugliest of human traits, and Joe Lieberman has plenty to spare.
