Labor for Lamont

Yesterday Ned Lamont received an important endorsement from AFSCME in New Britain. This is going to be a significant help to the campaign effort. Ned spoke for about 4 minutes and touched on some issues that are important to Connecticut working families.

Plus, there's a surprise question near the end. (Bet you'll watch it now!)

hey about Ned having a hat with the Mets and Yankees emblem on the front and on the back of it in bold letters:

Talk to Ned about that. I think it's best to keep certain things to yourself. Until after November 7th, anyway.

Mets up 1-0. What a great game, too!

Bob, You'll probably never read this, too far down now, and desperately EPU'd, but I did want to say thanks for your AMAZING work. It was your coverage of the Lamont campaign that I kept hearing about all over the "blogosphere," (see, I'm even learning the terminology!), mainly on Firedoglake, that got this 60+ year old fascinated with blogs. I hope beyond hope not only that Ned wins, but that you consider a wider venue (which, from the posts above you seem to be doing). However, I simply HAD to respond to this post, as a born and bred NYC broad. Your "technical difficulties" made me HOWL! Great humor, great fun, and a great way to "lighten it up" when we're all perhaps a bit tense. Keep up your amazingly good work. And just to let you know, you're now a bookmark.

It's a crying shame that the CT AFL-CIO refuses to endorse Lamont. By not endorsing any candidate and riding the fence they send an unspoken endorsement of Lieberman.
