Ned's great concession speech

I'm so proud to have been a part of the campaign for a guy like Ned Lamont, and we expect to see a lot more of Ned Lamont in the future. We're going to need a few days to recover from this hectic campaign, but we're looking forward.

What a gentleman and good sport Ned Lamont is, and what a real pleasure to have been a part of this.

Now it's time to start holding Joe Lieberman accountable for all his promises. Let's start getting out of Iraq immediatly, like you promised. Let's work on getting national health care, like you promised. Let's see about keeping Social Security solvent without privatization, like you promised.

Time to keep those promises, Joe.

And not just those promises he made to the lobbyists, the corporate sponsors, and the special interests.

Keep the promises you made to the people of Connecticut.

Ned is more gracious than you Bob. CT voters elected the better candidate tonight - the more qualified and more skilled candidate. They should be proud of their choice.

It's also time to start holding bloggers responsible for their falsehoods and lies.

oye.. not that it's worth responding to trolls, but again, among his many other crimes, Joe voted for torture. TORTURE. Holding innocent people's heads under water--sleep with that, if you voted for him. Hope your names don't show up on any no-fly lists.

You will never see Ned Lamont again in politics. For the next year he is going to try to figure out how he blow through $13 million on a race he knew he couldn't win. What a joke.

Is this the end of the CT Bob blog? it should

I'm a democrat and I love how CT votes, with their heads

if ned lamont was a gentleman he would have tried to promote himself instead of rip joe lieberman apart. i know youre upset, but try to stay honest. ned ran a nasty and negative campaign.

Ned Lamont paid for our torture--those incredibly boring unending commercial after commercial after commercial.

Geez. Vote for Joe and get rid of Ned's diatribe. It was almost like 1984 with the propoganda telly that you can't turn off.

Puke.

How does Ned indict Hillsman for political malpractice?

Wow, you pussies are amazing. Just as classless as your hero. Nothing magnanimous about YOU fuckers.

Die.

Yeah, responding to trolls isn't a mistake... look at all the insightful responses to my comment regarding Joe's vote for the Military Commissions Act. You've all really validated your positions.

disagreeing with you doesnt make us trolls. by the way, hows our "pathetic hero" joe doing?

um, failing to make an actual argument against a position statement, or contributing anything meaningful to the discussion is the definition of a troll--but I'm done here--shouldn't you be out celebrating?

I will sleep well knowing that we are doing what it takes to protect United States citizens from future attacks, I think the fact that there has not been a successful terrorist plot carried out in the last five years states a great deal about the benefits of your so called "torture". Please feel free to travel to a nation that harbors radical Muslim terrorists and try to talk them out of beheading non-combatant prisoners. See where that gets you, I would think that grown men would have learned by now that you can reason with a rabid dog, you just have to put it to sleep.

Let us debunk these lieberidiots points
1) Lamont stuck to issues when bashing Lieberman. Lieberman called Lamont dirty, tried to throw Lamont out of a parade, agreed with an old lady that Lamont was a JERK. Lamont never agreed in public with anyone who called Lieberman names.
2) One of you claims to be a CT dem who voted with his head? Are you like some of those idiotic CT dems who oppose the iraq war - the biggest issue distracting the country on the war on terror and draining money from many programs - but then vote for the guy who is one of the biggest propoenents of the biggest foreign policy blunder in recent history?
