Report from the Field
I just talked with Peter Tercyak, D-New Britain in the state house. (We went to nursing school together). He said, "Since 1994, when I was involved in my first state-wide election, I had not seen even half of the complaints that have come from the polling places today." He described reports of moderators offering to show voters where Joe's name is on the ballot (whether they asked or not), people being told polling places were "out of provisional ballots," people being given absentee ballots and told to mail them in, and other horror stories. I'm nervous that Lieberman's goons have gone dark today -- have they already made certain arrangements?
