Get what I just did?

(Yes, I completely stole borrowed this idea from Kirby...)

BTW, did anyone notice how LOW Joe's name is on the ballot? I actually had to bend down to see it, and the way the light is mounted in the voting booth, you almost couldn't read his name!

This is FANTASTIC! Karl Rove might have flooded the state with Republican operatives, but the one thing that mushy fucker COULDN'T do was help his buddy Lieberman get a better spot on the BALLOT!

WOOO-HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Hmm, not really. You voted for Ned? But then why did you have to steal this idea from Kirby???

No no, taking the PICTURE of voting for Ned, not voting itself.

She did that back in the Primary.

Ah, kk. And I already was concerned you added that cute little red arrow to steer more people to voting for Ned...

That's one of those lever machines? Hope there won't be any 'hanging chad' issues!

I was just mentioning to people here at work how low that Lieberman lever is! I suppose it won't matter if you're going in with the intent of voting for him, but if you're in a half-daze like most voters are, you might just miss it entirely. I say it's gotta be worth a couple thousand votes--probably not enough.

sooo, volunteering at one of the polls this early morning in Milford stands a walking sandwich board teen, his board says Vote for Joe. A Democratic supporter asks hey kid where do you go to school? He replies: Amity...Democratic supporter asks What are you doing down here in Milford. Amity teen replies I am taking a political science course and have to stand here from 6 to 6 for the class. Democratic supporter asks so why did you choose Lieberman to support. Amity teen replies; "Well we were told that Joe's campaign was really the only campaign that had enough work for us to do throughout the campaign and we have to put in a lot of hours in order to get a good grade" He says this in the presence of both Democratic and Republican volunteers standing on both sides of the sidwalk...in unison we look at each other speechless at first, and then in unison state: 'That's not right' It's not very often Republican and Democratic volunteers agree and on Election day no less! Strong arming students to work for a party of one is appalling.

Saw that same lovely lever-Lamont-visual myself this morning! Go Ned!

I've been saying for awhile that there are some structural factors with the ballot that could make the difference in Ned's favor.

*As Bob noted, Lieberschnitzel has a lousy position on the ballot- you've got to make a real effort to find him.

*Some % of the voters will vote straight Democratic ticket, which helps Ned.

*Some % of the voters will vote straight GOP ticket, which helps Schlesinger at the expense of Lieberputz and helps Ned also. I think the polls have seriously underestimated the % of votes that Schlesinger is going to get.

*Schlesinger did very well in the debates, and some people will have shifted their support to him, which hurts Lieberliar.
