Speaking of Dr. Orman...

I think it's about time I posted this image, taken at a little blogger's gathering at my house way back when Ned Lamont was just a longshot with a strong message. A lot has happened since then, but this was a moment in time that I'll always treasure:

(Clockwise from Lower Left: Maura from CT/VA, somebody's Left Arm, Internet Wizard Tim Tagaris, the ubiquitous Spazeboy, a portion of CT Keith, and a bit of MLNer Neal Fink)

Last week I sent Adam Nagourney, from the NYTimes an email asking that he correct his statement in referring to Joe Lieberman a member of the Democratic Party because as August 9th, he had to file under his new party name Connecticut for Lieberman in order to run in the General Election. This morning I got the following response from Adam Nagourney: "Thanks for writing. He still is a member of the Democratic Party, who says he will caucus with other Democrats in the Senate. Probably the most accurate way to refer to him as a Democratic Party member who was elected on an independnet line"

My response, "No, Adam, the better way to refer to him is under the name that he was shown on the voting ballot and how he was elected, as a member of the "Connecticut for Lieberman Party" who says he will caucus with the Democrats and/or Republicans!" (meaning, whom ever feeds his over inflated ego the most!)

Thanks Harriet and gchaucer2, but I believe Adnags is (slightly) smarter than a turnip, but a 'heckuva job, Brownie' less honest.

LOL! Hey, did you catch Jimmy on Cablevision 12 this weekend? I taped it, but I won't have a chance to edit it until Monday or so; he essentially compared voting the straight Democratic line was the same as the German army invading Poland. The guy's a friggin' genius!
