Lieberman on the Hastert question

Yeah, Joe and I had another little chat today.

It always amazes me how many evasions, half-truths, and outright lies our favorite Junior senator can squeeze into a one-minute sound bite. Watch and learn...

...and I put the dog barks in as a tribute to Kirby's awesome work the last two days ("Kirby" is one of my blog-partner's dogs). Hope you liked that, Kirby!

It is so obvious to anyone but Morally-confused-delusional-ex-democratic-nominee-lying JOE that he himself should resign from the Democratic party to run against the Democratic nominee.

He is so full of excrement (his own, I should think so ...) that he probably can't smell the roses anymore ..... tell him to go get a life out of Washington ...and not back in CT ...Crawford should be fine!

You caught him red handed in a flagrant lie. Nice. Amazing how naturally this guy can lie, isn't it. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

Great job, Bob.

Keep up the great work. The MA contingent will be down tomorrow. somewhere near Hartford.

Good work, Bob. With transcripts and videos immediately available on the web, it's become much harder for these guys to lie.

Did you get to speak with your old pal Jelly?

No Jelly today :)

Best commentary on this subject so far...

Amazing, Bob -- That's Kirby right there as a puppy -- When I played the video, he and the other 3 shelties barked back at Joe. As it should be.

CTBob, let's get this on the TV! What an ad it would be--lying HoJo meets himself and he finds out just how ugly he is. HoJo's lips moving. Lying.

You gotta admit that 'Rape-Gurney' Joe has got BRONZE COJONES, but not much of a brain to get caught so BLANTANTLY LYING to a video camera.

Thanks, CTB!

Lefty!

CTBob,

is there any chance that you've got the intro to the part where Lieberman's saying "partisan frenzy" to the reporter? The lead-in question, even?

Ned Lamont has to make a pledge that if he is elected that he will not support Frist or any other Republicans for the leadership of the Senate. Then he has to challenge alleged Democrat Joe Lieberman to make the same pledge. If Joe Lieberman is a real Democrat he will, of course, make the pledge. If he won't it will show that he can't be trusted to remain a Democrat if he wins the election. Will he risk angering Republicans by being the Democrat he claims he is or whill he slap Democrats in the face, even those prepared to vote for him next month to please Republican voters?

Some Connecticut voter has to get Ned Lamont to make the pledge. He has to be asked to make the pledge so Joe Lieberman can't whine about a double standard. If Lamont goes first there is no way for him to do that. Connecticut voters have to then challenge alleged Democrat, Joe Lieberman, to make this pledge to Democratic and independent voters. You would think that would be the easiest possible thing in the world for a genuine Democrat to do.

darrelplant - I'm sure the person who shot the video does have it. What would you like to know about it?

olvlzl - the next question I was going to ask Joe was "If you win another term, will you pledge to serve out your term and not quit to take another position?"

Bob --
Heard this today on Sam Seder's Air America show. Wow. Very nice work. I am passing this on to some reporters I know.

b.a., I've heard a couple of people repeating the Lieberman camp's whine that JL's comment is "out of context" because you can't hear the question or the portion of the response prior to the words "partisan frenzy". Personally, I'm at a loss to figure out in what benign context Joe could have used "partisan frenzy" but I figured if I could point the jerks to either audio or video files of the remarks I could give thema big raspberry.

Well, I'm willing to wait and let the Lieberman camp accuse me publicly of misrepresenting the remarks that Joe made. If they do that, I'll be more than willing to call a press conference and show them exactly what I have.

And I'm sure there's any number of civil options I can and will fully exercise should they in any way slander, defame, or otherwise cause harm to my good name.

(Hee-hee!)

Catching Senator Papsmear yet again. Good work, CTBob - this is what freedom of the press is all about.
